 (This is another backdated post written 16 November.) With Jon and Peggy visiting the week of 11 September, I hired a gardener to clean up the front yard. They did an amazing job on 2 September, then returned on the 16 and 30 September, 15 October and 4 November. On 4 November, I gave them $600 to tackle the back yard. The family will return 18 November.

EXT.1 Roof - Replace composition shingles, gutters, downspouts. Replace rotten fascia

INT.1 Refinish the hardwood floors throughout. Replace carpet with something. Extend hardwood? New carpet? Laminate? Floor guy said (in 2015) that he could even remove the need for the brass threshold.

INT.41 Design improvements: Consider disabling one of the overhead doors in order to seal/insulate and replace the other door with new, insulated door. It isn't going to fit a car, so let's heat it. Maybe give it a ceiling? Pull down attic stairs?
