A meandering low, natural hedge

Let's take out the overgrown tall plants on either side of the lamp post and replace them with a row of part-sun, drought-tolerant plants.

Sarcococca ruscifolia

Beekeeper Bluebeard - Full to part sun, 2-3ft high, 2-3 width, cold hardy to -20 (2g $28 at Home Depot)

Thunderbolt Box Honeysuckle - Part sun, 3-4ft high, 3-4 width, cold hardy to -20 (2g $28 at Home Depot)

Fragrant Sweetbox (Sarcococca ruscifolia) - Partial - full shade, well-drained soil, 3-4ft tall and wide, Fragrant white flowers Jan-Feb. Hardy to 0F (Swansons)

Nandina domestica 'Lemon Lime'

Lemon Lime Heavenly Bamboo (Nandina domestica 'Lemon Lime') - Best in full sun to shade, well-draining soil , 3-4ft tall and wide, brightly colored foliage, hardy to -10. (Swansons)

Variegated Winter Daphne (Daphne odora 'Aureo-marginata') (Everde Growers, Swansons)

Miss Molly Butterfly Bush (Buddleia x) - Prefers full sun-part shade, well-drained soil, grows quickly 4-6ft tall and wide. Profuse red lowers in summer, does not produce viable seed. Hardy to -20. (Swansons)
