What if the Trees Room was up a few steps instead of down or level? It would feel more like a tree house--the deck off the back would be like a platform of a tree house.
Update 5/1/15: A little more modeling, showing supports and also glass at the entry that expresses the notion of a raised platform. Pretty sure we don't want to do this, but the idea deserved a model.
